Total Motion contribute over £5,000 to charity event ‘L Factor’

Total Motion contributes £5000 for the local charity event, L Factor.

Taking place on the 31st March this year, ‘L Factor’ is now in its third year, and is one of the biggest corporate fundraising events of its kind in Leicestershire. The evening will be hosted by former Tigers player, George Chuter and ex-Leicester City footballer, Matt Elliot.

Leicester based Total Motion Vehicle Management has now supported The Lord’s Taveners through corporate sponsorship for three years. Simon Hill, MD at Total Motion, feels that the £5,000 sponsorship is going to a great cause.

“It is an honour for our team to once again be supporting The Lord’s Taveners. It’s always an innovative and fun filled evening, and we’re looking forward to seeing the talent of Leicestershire!”

For 2017, The X Factor style music event is relocating from the O2 Academy to Leicester Arena – the home of Leicester Riders. Total Motion also support the Riders closely throughout the year with sponsorship, so there was even more of a reason for the company to get involved.

There are 5 corporate sponsors in total, and the event is hoping to raise £50,000, with over 1,000 people in attendance. These include Total Motion, Interserve Learning and Apprenticeships, Hastings Direct, Gateley Plc, SME Capital.

Ian Guyler is the Chairman of The Lord’s Taveners, and is responsible for organising the event.

“Corporate sponsorship adds credibility to the event and it’s fantastic to see businesses in the area coming together to support a local charity.”

The charity provides equipment for special needs schools, and also programmes for disadvantaged children. Specifically, some of the funds will be dedicated to the Leicestershire Special Needs Olympics Team taking part in the GB Special Olympics in Sheffield this August.

Amongst those participating will be Nick Taylor from Juice Creative, Len Senior of Senior Cars, James Bowie from the Belmont Hotel and Rob Bracken from Leicester Racecourse.

Special guest judges include Caroline Aston and Cherie Concannon, with two more to be confirmed. For further information visit www.totalmotion.co.uk
