LSH Auto UK, part of the World’s leading premium automobile dealer group (LSH International), has just opened its brand-new Mercedes-Benz ‘Centre of Excellence’ for used cars, with industry-leading facilities in Erdington, Birmingham.
To celebrate the opening there will be a VIP open day on Thursday 2nd May, which will see a host of entertainment throughout the day from 12pm – 7pm, including a special Q&A with acclaimed sports commentator ‘Crofty’.
A popular figure with motorsports fans, David Croft AKA Crofty will host a special Q&A for guests from 6pm. Having covered a plethora of iconic sports events, including F1 as a commentator and presenter, Crofty will entertain guests with his passion and enthusiasm.
Doors will open from 12pm midday with a live performance from a local Bhangra group from the University of Birmingham; followed by warm welcomes from the Managing Director, Martyn Webb, the General Manager Aiden Perris and Property Manager Paul Franklin of LSH Auto UK.
There will also be drinks, canapés throughout the day and premium skincare brand Kiehl’s will host a natural skin care pop up; DJ Hattie Pearson (Hits Radio) will be live from 3pm. There will also be a F1 replica car to see, Heritage Mercedes-Benz cars on display for one day only, and interactive golf simulators to try out!
Occupying a six-acre site (5000sqm), the new Mercedes-Benz of Erdington is an approved used car retail space, with an impressive bespoke used car preparation centre.
The brand-new site, on Bromford Lane, also offers a purpose-built, industry-leading after-sales facility – a new offering for customers in the area; complete with service and MOT specialists.
Mercedes-Benz of Erdington displays over 200 pristine vehicles; showcasing 50 models in its showroom and a further 150 vehicles outside – protected with a modern canopy. There are also 12 workshop bays.
This is a significant opening for LSH Auto UK, as the site is aligned with the brand’s promise – ‘You Come First. Always’ – which focuses on putting the customer, and the customer experience, at the heart of everything they do. LSH Auto UK is committed to changing the landscape of automotive retailing, by creating spaces that are designed to be destinations rather than traditional retail spaces; innovative spaces that are aligned to offer a seamless customer journey.
The city of Birmingham will reap the economic benefits of LSH Auto UK’s ambitious plans, in terms of the significant financial investment in the area and employment safeguarding and new job creation – with 32 new jobs created at the Mercedes-Benz of Erdington site.
