Trainline’s top tips for a breezy bank holiday:
BOOK IN ADVANCE

TRAINING WITH YOUR CREW

If you’re travelling with family or friends, check out GroupSave with the Trainline app, where groups of 3-8 passengers who travel together on Off-Peak tickets may be eligible for a 34% discount.

You can also use the Family and Friends railcard, which provides a third off for adults and a huge 60% off for kids.

BEAT THE QUEUES

Download the Trainline app and use mobile tickets to allow you to store all tickets safely on your phone – and avoid ticket queues at the station.

SITTING PRETTY

With lots of people keen to get out of the city for the day, the BusyBot feature in the Trainline app comes in handy for revealing the quietest parts of the train, so you can head for the empty seats and have the best chance of travelling in comfort.
