Birmingham City Council Leader celebrates show home launch in Harborne

St. Philips Homes unveiled its brand new show home at Harborne Place at the weekend with the help of Birmingham City Council Leader, Councillor Ian Ward.

The event at the Lordswood Road development proved incredibly popular with over 60 people in attendance and with over 40% of the plots now reserved, this just leaves only three plots available for sale.

Commenting on the launch, Cllr. Ian Ward, said: “It was a pleasure to be a part of the show home launch and to play a role in such an important milestone for Harborne Place. The development benefits from a fantastic location and exceptional build quality, so it is little surprise to see that so many people were keen to get a glimpse of what may be their next step on the property ladder.”

Daniel Le Neveu, managing director of St. Philips Homes, added: “The launch of the show home is a key moment for any development, as it’s when potential purchasers can begin to visualise what life would be like in their new home. We are extremely proud of Harborne Place and it was fantastic to be able to showcase the close attention to detail and contemporary finishes that go into each of our properties.”

Arranged over three floors, each of the high-specification properties boasts exceptional design features, from sleek bi-fold doors leading into a spacious private garden, to Juliet balconies on the first floor and underfloor heating installed throughout. A future-proof development, homeowners will also benefit from two off-road parking spaces, one of which has the capability for an electric charging point to be added.

Joe Shorney, head of residential development sales at Savills Birmingham who is marketing the scheme on behalf of St. Philips Homes, comments: “Harborne Place is a long awaited scheme within the local area and has generated a huge amount of interest. With over 40% of the homes reserved and only four of the seven townhouses remaining, we will continue to operate on a first come, first served basis so I would encourage interested parties to contact us sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.”

Demonstrating the tailored design solutions available to prospective homeowners, the show home will display the work of market-leading suppliers, including luxurious Porcelanosa bathrooms and beautifully-crafted kitchens by Neptune, giving a glimpse into contemporary suburban living at its finest.

Further acknowledging the region’s historic value whilst offering the very best in contemporary living, each property takes its name after a notable Harborne resident to offer a strong sense of identity and place.

The development is set to complete in May, with prices of remaining plots starting at £675,000. Harborne Place will consist of two house types, each with five generously sized bedrooms and a choice of either three or four bathrooms and en-suites and two off-road parking spaces
