Broadcaster Adrian Chiles to host local charity Golf Day at Edgbaston Golf Club

NICE supporter, Adrian Chiles will take to the fairways at an annual Golf Day organised by NICE, a leading local charity which helps West Midlands based families who are affected by movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and adults recovering from a stroke.

Adrian says: “I’m looking forward to bringing together two of Birmingham’s most remarkable assets.  Edgbaston is surely one of the nicest city courses in the world.  And just around the corner NICE, Centre for Movement Disorders is doing amazing work helping children and adults with conditions significantly affecting their physical ability.  I’m looking forward to celebrating both of these wonderful Birmingham institutions and raising funds for NICE to help them go from strength to strength.”

The event will take place on Monday 18th June 2018 & attracts individuals and companies from the Midlands business community, aiming to raise £10,000 towards the charity’s crucial services which are a lifeline to local families.

“My daughter has so many challenges in her life, but I watch her make progress all the time and know how much of this is due to the consistent and focused help she has had at NICE and will continue to have.” Mum of child attending NICE’s specialist primary school

Golfers will enjoy coffee and bacon rolls on arrival before heading out on Edgbaston Golf Club’s 18 hole course, considered one of the best private member golf clubs in the Midlands, just one mile from the centre of Birmingham.

Teams of four are just £500 and a sponsored tee is £100. To book your team or tee sponsorship at NICE’s Golf Day and help local families in need, please contact Louise Davis by email at [email protected] or by phoning 0121 442 5559.
