The Cadbury World chocolatiers have been getting into the Christmas spirit, creating a snow-stopping scene for visitors to enjoy.
The incredible display took chocolate artists Dawn Jenks and Donna Oluban three days to complete and used more than 32kg of milk and white chocolate – the equivalent of 711 standard bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk.
Standing at 60cm high, the centre of the scene is a beautifully snow-topped house, featuring hand-made roof tiles and piped brickwork across the façade. No Christmas scene would be complete without an appearance from the man himself and visitors to Cadbury World can spot Santa disappearing down the chimney, off to deliver presents to the children who can be seen waiting in the windows.
Accompanied by a white-chocolate Rudolf and an intricate red and gold sleigh stuffed with presents, the house is finished with white chocolate icicles, a dusting of snow and even a stained glass front door and festive garland. Outside there’s a Christmas tree with colourful lights, a hand-piped bike and wellies and even a snowman.
The creation is on display in Cadbury World’s Chocolate Making zone as part of the attraction’s Christmas celebrations until 30th December 2019.
There’s plenty of festive fun to be had at Cadbury World over the holiday season on weekends and selected dates until Monday 23rd December. Father Christmas will take centre stage in the tree-mendous Santa Show, offering a gift to every little helper in attendance. Enchanting pantomime Snow White & the Chuckle Beans will also make a spectacular return with seven performances per day.
Cadbury World will also be beautifully decorated for the festive season, with a giant chocolate Christmas tree and chocolate cracker on display for guests in the reception area. The Cadbury Café will also be serving a delicious selection of yuletide treats, and visitors can also stock up on seasonal souvenirs, gifts and handcrafted festive chocolatey novelties for the whole family, at The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop.
