The Edgbaston Launches New Cocktail Menu ‘A Bartenders Guide To Drinking For The Fun Of It’
Hurrah! The Edgbaston Boutique Hotel today launches their brand new cocktail menue! This year’s cocktail menu is called “A Bartenders Guide To Drinking For The Fun Of It.”. Creating a drinks menu that act’s as your drinking companion through a night at The Edgbaston.
Each page relates to a “stage” in ones night out. The menu has been designed with absolute quality mixed drinks and fun in mind. If you’re only popping in for 1, the menu is easily digestible and the sections extremely user friendly. Conversely, if you have a night planned with us you can play the game and move from chapter to chapter!
Each drink tells it’s own story in a unique and delicious way (in true Edgbaston style) and isn’t held to the confines of an overall concept. The descriptions for each drink are easily digestible, but the actual process to get that flavour may have taken us 2 days. They have purposefully kept bartender jargon out of the menu to create talking points between the guests and the bartender serving. For example, the “Rye-Anna”. The banana flavour doesn’t come from a liqueur, it comes from actual banana being adjusted in a Sous Vide with Amylase and PectinX organic enzymes, then infused into the whisky and clarified with various techniques and processes. They have also just recently acquired a drink trolley so we have the ability to make most of our menu table side.
