Herman Ze German To Open At Bullring & Grand Central

The capital’s favourite sausage shop, Herman ze German, is coming to Birmingham this spring as it opens at Grand Central on 1st April.

With its first store outside of London, customers will be able to try the brand’s famous and authentic German wurst, which is carefully sourced from the Black Forest and house made Schnitzel.

The restaurant’s full menu including Bockwurst, Bratwurst, Chilli Wurst, Vegan Wurst and Herman’s signature Currywurst will be available at their new site in the centre’s grab-and-go food area. Birmingham sausage enthusiasts will also be able to choose from an impressive selection of delectable sides and authentic German biers.

The brand opened its first restaurant 10 years ago and was born out of the question ‘where can I get a decent German sausage in the UK?’ and since then has gone on to open five restaurants, including one in Germany. The Grand Central restaurant will be the brand’s sixth.

Co-founder Azadeh Falakshahi commented: “We are super excited to be celebrating 10 years of Herman ze German by bringing our famous Currywurst, Schnitzels and grilled Black Forest sausages to Birmingham.”

Stephanie Lacey, General Manager of Bullring & Grand Central, added: “We are delighted to welcome Herman ze German to the city and thrilled that the brand has chosen Bullring & Grand Central to open its first restaurant outside of the capital. We’re confident that the new restaurant will prove a huge hit with our customers.”

To celebrate the new opening the restaurant will be offering 50% off food for the first three days of opening, terms and conditions apply.
