Peter Pan – Christmas in Neverland to sprinkle its magic on Arena Birmingham
Comedy legend, actor and presenter Bradley Walsh and the fearsomely attractive Spandau Ballet, EastEnder, and ‘Let It Shine’ judge Martin Kemp will be headlining The World’s Biggest Pantomime production of Peter Pan-Christmas in Neverland from 20-24 December at Arena Birmingham, formerly the Barclaycard Arena, this festive season.
Set to transport audiences to a world of spectacle and comedy, this perfect festive treat is brought to life by a cast of over 100 performers across three arena stages, including a thrilling team of flying trapeze and West End artists, BMX bike stuntmen and also Matt Knight (of BBC’s Let It Shine) who’ll play Peter Pan.
Bradley Walsh said: “It’s going to be bigger, better and funnier than ever. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there and playing the funny pirate ‘Mr Smee’.”
Martin Kemp added: “I’m thrilled to be playing “Captain Hook” this Christmas, and what really makes this production different from any other is the scale and size of everything. You won’t have seen anything like it.”
A giant 60 feet wide LED screen with both computer graphic imagery and live close-up TV relay of the action will ensure audiences never miss a moment of this sensational family adventure! The production will feature a twenty-five-foot animatronic crocodile on a movie style Neverland set, a 10,000-gallon water wall, and life-sized galleon that sails around the Arena.
