Raise a Glass to Fine Scottish Whisky

Whether you’re a whisky aficionado or a newcomer, Harvey Nichols will be hosting a specially-themed dinner focusing on the award-winning bottles from one of Scotland’s finest distilleries.

The five-course feast will be held in the Private Dining Room at the luxury Mailbox store on Thursday September 26 and will feature a delicious menu with each dish matched with Glengoyne whiskies. Kicking off at 7pm, the evening will be hosted by Harvey Nichols Head Chef Steward Mackie and resident drinks expert Siofra O’Brien alongside Alan Wardrop, UK Sales Manager of family-run Ian MacLeod Distillers, who will talk guests through the food and drink pairings.

The menu will feature scallops with apple and braised baby fennel, butternut squash soup, pan-fried venison with juniper and damson honeyed oats and dark-chocolate truffles. Dishes will be served with aged whisky, including a ten-year-old variation with notes of malted milk biscuits and crunchy green apple, a 12-year-old bottle with notes of lemon zest and coconut shortbread, and Glengoyne’s Legacy Series.

Limited spaces are available and tickets cost £60 to include five courses and matched whiskies.
