Sabai Sabai launches a new menu and announces a fourth venue opening this Autumn

Sabai Sabai have always thrown a good party and this hot summer’s day was no different as many Thai food lovers headed down to Harborne High Street to sample the new menu.

Sabai Sabai first opened in Moseley in 2011 and this is the first time the menu has had a major overhaul.

Invitees were an array of regular customers, press, journalists and bloggers who all got to enjoy Oriental Bellinis, and a sumptuous array of Thai starters including golden bags, squid and sweetcorn cakes.

New on the menu were delicious beef short ribs braised in a Massaman curry topped with crushed cashew nuts and char-grilled Rib-eye and Sirloin steak. Other popular dishes included Monkfish in a Thai green curry; sea bream in Choo Chee sauce with baby leaf spinach; and char-grilled jumbo prawns in a cream of Tom Yam with diced young coconut.

Many of the classic Sabai Sabai dishes are still on the menu and can be found in Moseley, Harborne & Stratford Upon Avon venues.

Guests gathered in anticipation for Sabai Sabai’s special announcement  – that a fourth venue in the city centre is in the pipeline to be opened later this year. Situated on Waterloo Street, a prime location near other popular eateries such as Cosy Club and Fumo. Sabai Sabai are winners of numerous awards their most recent success is winning Best Oriental Restaurant (Midlands) at the England Awards 2016 and have also been shortlisted for Best Oriental at this year’s Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards. Being an independent family owned business this is a huge Midlands success story and it’s clear to see that Sabai Sabai are riding on a crest of a wave to accomplishing an empire.
