See spring blossom at this year’s annual BPA lunch

Spring is set to blossom this March with the annual Birmingham Publicity Association lunch being hosted at Zen Metro.

The popular networking event will be kicking off the first of a number of fundraising drives planned for this year with a tasty Thai at the Cornwall Street based restaurant.

Tickets are expected to sell fast for the lunch on Friday 29th March at 12.30, which will include a three course Thai meal served platter style and a glass of Prosecco on arrival at the exclusive restaurant, costing £40 for BPA members and £50 for non members.

The Birmingham Publicity Association aims to unite those working in the creative industries across the West Midlands and is a great way to network and have fun at the same time – along with raising thousands of pounds for charity.

Natalie Pejovic, Vice Chair of the Birmingham Publicity Association, said: “We are proud to be this year hosting our Spring Lunch in such a gorgeous venue and as we have seen in past years, tickets sell out incredibly quickly for this event.

“This year we also have our new charity onboard, Acorns Children’s Hospice, and this will be our first official fundraising drive for them. This alongside the great opportunity for networking with those within the creative industry, we are set to have a great afternoon together.”

The BPA has existed since the 1930s, supporting the media and creative industries in the region, while raising money for key charities that its members wish to support. Its members include global organisations to sole traders, graduate trainees right up to CEOs and MDs, media owners and agencies, advertising and marketing agencies, digital agencies, PR agencies and freelancers.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions, as well as support for their families.

In the past year, the charity has cared for more than 870 children and supported more than 1,140 families, including those who are bereaved.
