Fresh off the back of England’s win in their opening game of the World Cup, Three Church Road, Edgbaston will be hosting a World Cup Verdict night on Wednesday the 18th of July with Sky Sports’ broadcaster Gary Newbon.
Set to be an evening of amazing anecdotes, fine wine and great food, Gary Newbon will be talking through England’s World Cup performance and the highlights of the international campaign.
Having worked in broadcasting for over 50 years, Gary is the perfect host to talk everything Three Lions at Three Church Road restaurant at Audley Village.
Guests can enjoy a three-course meal, while Newbon shares his expert opinion on this year’s FIFA World Cup.
As a reporter, Gary has interviewed all the big names, including Pele and the great German Player/Manager-player Franz Beckenbauer. Gary is also a personal friend of Gareth Southgate and will be sharing his insight on Gareth as a player, manager and person.
Gary said, “I have covered 7 World Cup Campaigns and this year’s one will prove to be just as eventful. I’m really looking forward to discussing the 2018 performance at the beautiful Three Church Road in Edgbaston.”
