Get ready to relive the 80s and 90s! Harvey Nichols Birmingham has teamed up with cult drinks brand When in Rome for a special throwback dinner where each course will be paired with retro-style wine boxes.
Forget everything you’ve heard about drinking wine from a box; When in Rome is leading the way in great-tasting, sustainable wine ensuring it’s no longer the preserve of family camping trips and questionable off-licences.
To introduce the range, The Harvey Nichols Brasserie will host the era-themed Kitchen Party celebrating the heyday of wine box drinking with an evening of retro food and booze.
Head Chef Stewart Mackie has cannily coordinated the dishes to complement the three different boxes of wine diners will try on the night. Cheekily nostalgic, kitsch courses include prawn cocktail and lasagne with garlic bread … with a stylish twist, of course.
