Last night we were invited along to De Montfort Hall to see the opening night of Peter Pan on Ice with the Russian Ice stars, and what a lovely evening we had.
The show transported the audience to a magical land of pirates, native Indians and ticking crocodiles, adding an exciting twist to a classic story. The skating talents of the cast was undeniable; gliding, twisting and leaping across the stage for the duration of the performance. The show closed to roars of applause and smiling faces from the entire audience.
Gabrielle Miller, De Montfort Halls publicity officer said: “It’s a great novelty seeing the stage transformed into an ice rink and we’re really happy with how the first show of Peter Pan on Ice went.
“The audience all seemed to get into the spirit and enjoy the production and we’re looking forward to welcoming thousands more customers to see it over the festive period.”
