On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June (12-4pm), Rutland Water will be transformed by The Four Winds Festival; a unique musical event showcasing the world premiere of “The Way The Wind Blows” – a specially commissioned piece telling the story of the inhabitants who live above, below and around Rutland Water.
Told through an ambitious mixture of music, dance and choreographed sailing, the production makes full use of its spectacular setting on the shores of Rutland Water and features a cast of more than 500, including a 300-strong choir. Hannah Gordon, star of stage and screen (Upstairs, Downstairs) will be narrating the story which starts at 6:30pm on both days. The whole weekend will feature huge variety of stalls and activities suitable for the whole family.

As normal, dogs are allowed at Rutland Water but must be kept on a lead. The performances of “The Way The Wind Blows” may be unsuitable for dogs.
