The Mercedes Benz CLS shocked the motoring world at its launch in 2003 and created a new market sector of its own: the four-door coupe. Since then, other premium makers have jumped on the bandwagon and those buyers looking for a four door practicality, with all the sweeps and sporting curves of a coupe, are spoilt for choice. So, it seems the perfect time for the daddy of them all to reinvent itself with an all-new design to keep it ahead of its nearest rivals.
Launched at the Paris Motor Show, the CLS keeps its classic proportions of long bonnet, narrow-look frameless side windows and dynamic roof that sweeps back at an angle towards the rear, but now sports full LED headlamps, elongated dark inlets, black grilles and a new athletic road stance. This is one Get Out Of My Way car you’ll notice in your rear view mirror.
As a design trendsetter, the CLS sets new standards in interiors with its wide variety of individualisation options. Five interior colours, five trim designs and also three qualities of leather are available to choose from.
