Despite the fact that two of us are driving a slightly scuffed Ford KA and a Peugeot 206 in a colour usually described as ‘vomit’; we love cars here at dluxe Towers. Especially if they’re shiny, fast and make us feel like VIPs.
Which is why we’re really rather excited about the launch of the Range Rover Evoque which will take centre stage in a three-day spectacular combining live performance, state-of the–art motion graphics and haute couture at the NEC in Birmingham later this month. On 27th May at 10:45am in Hall 10 of the NEC, the Evoque will roll into the limelight.
The event comprises a number of 25 minute performances that blend visionary art with contemporary design and high fashion in a sensory excperience that will set pulses racing and complement the visual styling of the new Range RoverEvoque.
Representing an industry first, the revolutionary show will entertain West Midlands audiences with seven shows a day from 27-29 May and will be the first opportunity for potential cusrtomers to get up close and personal with the ground-breaking vehicle – Land Rover’s smallest, lightest and most fuel-efficient model ever – before it goes on sale in the autumn.
Doll (the production company behind award winning shows including Clothes Show Live and Britain’s Next Top Model) is bringing the show to life, and Producer Lee Lapthorne is the man responsible for its concept and direction. Lee, who was born in Sutton Coldfield and attended Sutton Art College and Birmingham City University, is incredibly excited about bringing his latest show home.

The spectacular shows form Land Rover’s largest and most exciting public vehicle launch ever – with nine live show dates in London, Birmingham and Manchester that will deliver the Evoque Experience to over 10,000 people.
The new Range Rover Evoque is the smallest, lightest, most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced. With a stylish range of personalisation options both the coupé and 5-Door models give every customer the opportunity to tailor their Evoque to suit their lifestyle. The Range Rover Evoque is available with a choice of powertrains, both petrol and diesel with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, and, for the first time in a Range Rover, the option of 2WD (front wheel drive) as well as 4WD.
