Keep an eye on the action and book your tickets now for Leicester Tigers against London Irish – with a post-match fireworks display – at Welford Road on Saturday 5th November 2011.
Tigers’ World Cup stars signalled their return to club duty in a 40-14 win over Gloucester last weekend and they return to home soil for a crucial Aviva Premiership Rugby Round 8 fixture against London Irish.
Before the match there will be the usual antics of the Junior Tigers Club with lots of outdoor fun including a bungee run, game tunnel, and even an inflatable bus as well as the VIP area indoors where Junior Tigers can meet a player, win their height in Jelly, create their own free milkshake, play giant jenga, games consoles, and take Welford the Tiger on at Connect 4.
Kick-off is at 3.05pm, with the fireworks scheduled immediately following the final whistle. Lasting around 10 minutes, the display will include over a firework a second in a musical firework spectacular.
There will also be a poppy appeal at the game, with a collection around the ground. Players will also be supporting the cause by wearing poppies on their shirts.
