Helen Howe Atelier announced as Independent Designer of the Year
Quintessentially-British brand, Helen Howe Atelier has been announced as the Independent Designer of the Year at the 2016 Midlands Fashion Awards, which took place on Friday 7th October.
Helen Howe Atelier is the brainchild of Helen Howe (pictured front left) and is based in the Cultural Quarter of Leicester. Her eponymous label is garnering attention for her excellent craftsmanship and truly British tailoring designs. Using only the finest British tweeds and suede fabrics, which are accentuated by iconic Liberty printed linings, the heirloom garments are timelessly elegant with quality and durability as standard.
With specialist craftsmanship and a pride in utilising the very best of British fabrics, it is no surprise to many that Helen Howe Atelier was rewarded for her designs in the prestigious Midland Fashion Awards 2016, which is seen by many as a barometer and breeding ground for the hottest new design talents coming into the fashion industry.
On being announced as the Independent Designer of the Year, Helen Howe stated; “I was absolutely overwhelmed when I heard my name called out as winner of the Independent Designer of the Year award.
