Leicester Comedy Festival returns to the city in February from the 8th-26th featuring over 770 events across 19 days. This year’s comedy festival has reinvented itself as the official comedy party of the UK, with their mission statement simply being to get the UK laughing again. Highlights include Jimmy Carr, Sarah Millican and Sue Perkins.

Following her memoir, Spectacles Sue Perkins is carrying on her current tour, heading to Leicester’s De Montfort Hall as part of Leicester’s Comedy Festival. If you haven’t yet adapted to no longer going to see Sue on GBBO, then here’s your chance to see her in person. Expect untold stories and lots of laughs.

James Arthur will be heading on a 14 date UK tour in March, heading to Leicester’s De Montfort Hall. The tour is in support of his new album, Back From The Edge, featuring the hit single Say You Won’t Let Go. Speaking of the tour James said “It’s amazing to finally get out there and perform this new album to not only my loyal and patient fanbase, but also hopefully some new fans as well. I promise to bring some serious energy to this stage for you all”.

The annual event sees hundreds of pie-makers gather for a celebration and competition of this British culinary favourite. The Full Monty

Based on the smash hit film and adapted for stage by Simon Beaufoy, The Full Monty is heading to De Montfort Hall for five nights of laughs and NSFW content. The production stars Gary Lucy, Joe Absolom, Andrew Dunn, Louis Emerick, Chris Fountain, Kai Owen and a cast of fourteen. Most recently the tour has been voted the best touring production by the UK Theatre Awards, so it is definitely worth a watch.
