Aqua Park Rutland launches exclusive kids' sessions

Aqua Park Rutland is helping mums and dads beat the school holiday cabin fever with exclusive sessions for six to thirteen year olds in July and August.

Available until 3rd September, the 10am sessions cater specifically for this age group, giving youngsters the chance to experience all the thrills and spills the park has to offer, while spending quality time with their family.

At 100 metres wide and featuring more than 70 fun and exciting obstacles, parents will enjoy the chance to get all members of the family outside and active, without a tablet or games console in sight.

Children attending these sessions will have full run of the park and get to climb, chute, slide and splash with their friends and siblings on super-soaking equipment including the Cyclone, colossal Revolution, Jungle Jim, Summit Express, Action Tower XL and the new Rutland Mammoth.

Aqua Park Rutland is now open seven days a week throughout July and August, with regular sessions also available for children over eight years old and 1.2 metres.

Richard Drinkwater, co-owner at Aqua Park Rutland said, “Since opening in May, Aqua Park Rutland has proved extremely popular with families looking for a summer activity that they can all enjoy together, and our exclusive kids’ sessions offer just that.

“Our sessions for six to thirteen year olds are set to be extremely popular, particularly for parents of younger children that aren’t able to take part in regular park sessions. I would advise those interested to book early to avoid disappointment.”

Aqua Park Rutland is open now until 23rd September but due to the high interest, visitors are encouraged to pre-book at www.aquaparkrutland.co.uk.

Tickets for the park are priced at £20 off-peak and £22 peak for a 50-minute session.

As an active attraction, visitors to Aqua Park Rutland need to be ready for the physical challenge and must be aged eight and over 1.2m tall and able to swim 50 metres unaided in a buoyancy vest to take part. Buoyancy vests are provided, and wetsuits are included in the ticket price.
