Towards the end of 2017 Steve took on a beautiful, almost rebuilt, West Bridgford home in Nottingham. The brief was to create a modern yet relaxed feel for a modern family.
The client requested all modern conveniences of boiling water taps, integrated appliances, very wide yet shallow height, lift up wall cabinet doors and discrete modern lighting.
The design incorporated a large square format floor tile to add to the modernclean feel
using Farrow& Ball ‘Down Pipe’ as a bold colour for the units which contrasted perfectly with the white walls & workshops.
Oak was chosen for the feature wall cabinets & handrails to tie in with the modern internal doors. Oak is the perfect choice of timer providing a timeless look ‘never high fashion & never out of fashion’.
To finish off the space, large velux windows were installed in the extended ceiling with bi fold doors opening out onto the garden providing the owner with a bright open family space.
The client was delighted with the end result & dressed it beautifully.
