GENTLEMEN’S DAY
Gentlemen’s Day is back and it is going to be bigger and better than last year! #GD18
They have plenty of top class flat racing throughout the day as well as live music from 80’s Ska Band “Bad Manners,” led by fat boy slam Buster Bloodvessel! Rewind back through the years and enjoy some old classics which will be performed after racing. Live entertainment and bars will be in a huge indoor arena which is situated close to the racing. They will once again running the ‘Best Dressed Man’ competition with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

They will have plenty going on at this summer’s evening race meeting. There will be lots of food and bar outlets and entertainment throughout the day. After racing they have a DJ set from Jo Whiley (from BBC Radio 2) arguably one of the most recognisable voices in British Broadcasting, she has had an exciting and varied career and is considered one of the nation’s favourite radio DJs, and will be playing some of the greatest hits.
THE LADIES’ DAY FESTIVAL
The Ladies’ Day Festival is Leicester Racecourse’s biggest event of the year and 2018 is no exception.
Enjoy a full festival day and night at Leicester Racecourse, where dancing is permitted, hats and big dresses are required, and friends & family are advised to join you!
The festival gates will open early for all of you festival goers that want to secure the best spot by the picnic area, stage or to view the top class horse racing!
BBC Radio Sport Presenter Ian Stringer will be back this year to host the day, he’ll be introducing this year’s full festival line up, and announcing the best dressed ladies competition where anyone can enter and the prizes will be bigger than before!
Head over to the main stage after racing where Lionel Vinyl will be opening the show. The main stage will be surrounded by Pimms and Prosecco this year; and don’t worry if you forget your dancing shoes…flip flops & chairs will be available to purchase near the stage.
Your headliners this year will be Soul Singer Lemar, X Factor finalist Fleur East, Electro group N-Trance, Nikki Belle, and to close the festival a full hour & a half set of club classics from the fantastic Dave Pearce! Not only that but they will be ending the night with a full display of fireworks.
