Tiger Style! Everards Launch First Clothing Collection

Inspired by a relaxing evening down the pub, the Everards team wanted to create a laid back, wearable range that could be comfortably layered. Key colours are set against soft fabrics which offer a touch of luxury.

An iconic symbol in the County, the Tiger is synonymous with Leicestershire after the Royal Leicestershire Regiment were nicknamed ‘The Tigers’ in 1825 following their long service in India. It also echoes the name of the local rugby club, the Leicester Tigers who Everards cheer on with pride!

The Everards garment designer and printing specialist are both based just down the road in Nottingham. Their expertise, attention to detail and passion for quality are evident in each piece and cement the Everards values in celebrating and supporting local business.

The new range celebrates the beautiful designs of Everards beers following feedback to say how much people love the bold illustrated designs, so Everards explored putting these onto garments. Created with the same care and consideration that goes into their beers these garments are wearable, quality items that the Everards team are really proud of!

Bit of Nostalgia…..

This collection also celebrates Everards history, going back to motorcycle design from the 1970’s Leicestershire Kamikaze Motorcycle Display Team.

Thanks to a Mr Leicester article, Everards learned that the Kamikaze team was started and run by.. Started and run by local bobby, PC Maurice Tidmarsh, so that youngsters could learn motorcycle stunts in a supervised environment. During their displays, the riders would wow the crowds by riding their bikes over cars, humans, through fire and standing on each other’s shoulders to form a human pyramid.

As the club grew they needed support and Everards gave the club £10,000 to buy new bikes. They got 125cc Kawasaki’s. They were red and yellow and had Everards Brewery Kamikaze Race Team written on the side.
