Celebrity master barber, Sid Sottung and veteran Leicester hairdressing icon Barrie Stephen are stepping up the fight against loneliness this Christmas with a charity fundraiser on Christmas Eve.
Held at the new Sid Sottung traditional American barbershop on Hotel Street, the duo are offering all services with the man himself, Head Barber Sid Sottung, for just £25. Sid has enjoyed a glittering career as stylist to the stars and jets around the world to craft hair at international fashion shows. Now he could be getting you (or your man) ready for Christmas Day.
All proceeds from services with Sid at this one-day-only extravaganza will go to Age UK Leicestershire & Rutland who are doing amazing work to make sure no older people spend Christmas alone this year. Their work includes events at community centres and bringing gifts to people who will be in hospital over Christmas. Sid is keen to make sure that his new shop gives something back over the festive period, which can be the loneliest time of the year for many older members of our community.
