LEICESTER’S FIRST EVER GIN AND BEER FESTIVAL IS COMING THIS SPRING!

A Gin and Beer Festival will be taking place in Leicestershire next month to raise funds for charity.

In aid of Blue Cross Animal Charity, the one-day event promises over 50 fantastic gins (including a host of flavoured variations) and over 20 lagers, ales and ciders – many of which are sourced from local Leicestershire breweries.  There will also be a prosecco and wine bar, live music and a great atmosphere to really top the day off.

The event will be taking place on Saturday 16th March at Mountsorell Memorial Centre, with two session times to choose from – 12pm or 4.30pm. Pre-booked tickets are priced at just £5 (plus a booking fee) whilst those purchased on the door will be £7.

Event organisers said: “We wanted to create an event that was something a bit different to your every day charity fundraiser. We thought what better way to kick the spring off than by celebrating the nation’s two most popular drinks?

“All proceeds raised from the day will be going to charity. We have some fantastic raffle prizes to give away on the day too! Tickets are on sale now and are selling very quickly, so we’d urge anyone wishing to attend to book up early to avoid disappointment.”

Once inside, drinks are sold on a token basis (tokens can be purchased on the day) a single gin and tonic will be £5, whilst the beers are priced individually.

As this is one day event the offering of ales and lagers from kegs will be limited due to there being little time to allow them to rest and to prevent wastage, however we will have a great selection of bottled and canned craft drinks available.

Tickets are on sale now but are very limited, so make sure you get in quick! Tickets can be booked via the website: ginandbeerfestival.co.uk/leicester

Strictly over 18’s only. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you may be asked for ID.
