Loughborough based independent optometrist Culver and Glass have
recently won a Leicestershire Business Award for Excellence in Customer Service. Add this to their previous 2017 Optician Award for Optical Assistant Team of the Year, and the practice is now multi-award winning.
The high-end optometry practice, situated on the High Street, specialises
in bespoke designer frames and lenses best suited for the patient’s needs. Led by husband and wife team, Natalie & Douglas Glass, the business bases their entire ethos on the patient experience.
From the extra time spent on the initial eye examination, to the personalised dispensing thereafter – where the patient can relax with a hot drink of their choosing, while the dispensing optician picks out a selection of stylish frames best suited to the patient’s colouring, face shape and style – it is crucial to the team that their patients feel like the most important person in the room during their time in the practice.
This tried and tested method of time, care and expertise evidently serves them well with patients travelling from as far as France, Belgium and even Singapore for their yearly eye checks!
