Make dad’s day! LOROS Hospice gift website ‘ByDesignGifts.co.uk’ offers a unique selection of gifts, to suit every dad this Father’s Day
On Sunday June 17th we’re celebrating fathers, step-dads, granddads, carers and daddies everywhere.
If you buy a gift for your dad from ByDesignGifts this Father’s Day, not only will you be putting a smile on your dad’s face, but you’ll be bringing smiles to the patients and carers that access the services at LOROS Hospice.
Just £10 could pay for the collection of a patient from home and take them to Day Therapy.
Dad-of-six, Richard Furniss, who’s been diagnosed with heart failure and prostate cancer, enjoys his time at Day Therapy.
“The nurses are lovely. I love coming to Day Therapy, making things, taking part in the activities and meeting children from local schools who work on projects with us.
“It’s great. I think the more people know about LOROS, the better, they’re just wonderful. One of the patients who come to Day Therapy told me one afternoon that it was the best Wednesday they’d ever had in their entire life.”
Day Therapy provides holistic care and support to patients, with the focus of enhancing quality of life, promoting dignity and individual choice.
ByDesignGifts.co.uk was launched in December 2017, and sells new items that range from home and garden gifts, children’s toys, to quirky gifts.
