Here in Leicestershire, we’ve got a lot to be proud of: we are blessed with stunning countryside; our cultural scene is unrivalled with some of the hottest West End shows originating from the city; our sporting heritage is of world acclaim and another thing that should be added to our ‘pride list’ is Ragdale Hall.
It’s a time of success and celebration for Ragdale Hall with the destination spa scooping two top accolades in the past month alone: the UK’s Best Destination Spa was recently awarded a prestigious ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by TripAdvisor, for the ninth year running and has also won ‘Best Day Spa’ in the 2019 reader voted Leicestershire and Rutland Muddy Stilettos Awards, marking the second time the spa has won in this category.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12-months – and we couldn’t agree more.; the wins follow Ragdale Hall being awarded ‘Best Dedicated Spa 2019’ at the 2019 Candis Spa Awards earlier this year.
For those who’ve not been before, or need refreshing, Ragdale Hall offers an extensive range of spa days, spa breaks, or even Twilight Taster sessions, which we’re big fans of as it enables us to nip over after work for a few hours of rest, relaxation and recuperation. That said, we did our first overnight residential a few weeks ago and we not only loved being able to use the facilities until 10pm, but it felt like we were a million miles away from normal life, despite it being on our proverbial doorstep.
However long your stay at Ragdale is, you’re in for a treat as every guest gets full use of its stunning rooftop infinity pool which overlooks the verdant countryside of northeast Leicestershire; water gym; class-leading thermal spa complete with waterfall pool (although our favourite is always the candle pool) as well as extensive grounds to while away the hours. The facilities are without equal, be that near or far.
Food plays a big part in your Ragdale experience too – or it does in ours. The menus are carefully created to be as wholesome or indulgent as you might like and we always have ours served with a side of champagne. Why not, we’re worth it? And so are you.
