Escape to Nottinghamshire for a Foodie Getaway

Food lovers are in for a treat as the award-winning School of Artisan Food and luxury hotel and spa, Ye Olde Bell, are offering the perfect foodie getaway.

For a limited time only, the two popular Nottinghamshire attractions are teaming up to offer baking enthusiasts the chance to learn new patisserie skills from internationally renowned baker and author, Emmanuel Hadjiandreou, as well as enjoy an overnight stay at the country hotel and spa as part of an exclusive package.

The hands-on Introduction to Patisserie course is ideal for anyone who loves to start their day with a fresh pastry. With the help of Emmanuel Hadjiandreou and demonstrations by experienced technician, David Carter, guests will learn new skills and gain knowledge and confidence needed to make a range of delicious pastries, including croissants, pain au chocolat, danish pastries and handmade puff pastry. The fabulous package is on offer for Saturday 18 May.

In addition to enjoying the course, guests will stay at Ye Olde Bell, located a short 20 minute drive away from the School in the rural village of Barnby Moor. Guests can choose to stay the night before, Friday 17 May, or same day of the course, Saturday 18 May.

Located on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the hotel has been passionately restored and renovated by its current owners. It features 59 beautiful rooms, suites and lodges in addition to delicious AA Rosette dining.

The hotel recently opened a new multi million pound health and beauty spa. It features ten spa experiences, indoor-outdoor vitality pool, an extensive range of treatments and bespoke therapies, delicious Herb Garden Brasserie and outdoor relaxation areas with alpine lodges.

The ‘Introduction to Patisserie’ course is being offered at the special price of £170 when booked with the hotel (normally priced at £185) and Ye Olde Bell is offering special room rates of £119 double/twin; £89 single per night. The fabulous package also includes traditional English breakfast at the hotel. Guests wanting to enjoy the spa on the Friday can also take advantage of a 10 percent discount on afternoon or full day spa access.
