Belgrade Theatre announces action-packed Spring Season 2020
With the Autumn Season 2019 in full swing, the Belgrade Theatre looks forward to another exciting year of shows with the announcement of its Spring Season 2020.
The Season kicks off from 3-7th March with the Old Vic’s critically acclaimed staging of A Monster Calls, a moving story of family, loss and growing up. From 10-14th March, award-winning musical Once hits the Theatre as it embarks on its very first UK tour in Spring 2020.
From 17th – 21st March, Bill Kenwright’s enormously popular musical Blood Brothers takes the stage, followed by two sumptuous opera productions as Russian State Ballet and Opera House present Aida and Carmen on 3rd and 4th April.
Drama fans can also look forward to the UK tour of Stephen Daldry’s acclaimed production of An Inspector Calls, playing at the Belgrade Theatre from 28th April-2nd May.
Perfect for musical and history lovers alike, the sensational SIX brings its histo-remix to the Belgrade from 2-6th June, retelling the story of Henry VIII’s six wives as you’ve never heard it before.
Alan Ayckbourn’s comic masterpiece Absurd Person Singular takes place from 6-9th May. Then from 26-30th May, Friendsical hits the theatres, an irreverent but loving tribute to classic TV sitcom Friends.
Meanwhile, music lovers can look forward to authentic tributes to a vast range of iconic artists, everything from The Eagles, to Amy Winehouse. Look out, too, for the return of The Sensational 60s Experience and The Story of Guitar Heroes, as well as A Country Night in Nashville.
These are only a few of the many incredible productions to look forward to, and the Belgrade is also offering big savings on multiple bookings. Ahead of its latest season release, the Theatre has launched two brand new subscription packages, offering subscribers a 15% discount on bookings for 3 or 4 shows, or a huge 25% off bookings for 5 or more shows.
