5TH SOLO EXHIBITION ANNOUNCED FOR LEICESTERSHIRE ARTIST

Leicestershire Professional Artist, Glenn Badham, was painting on Wednesday, 5th August on location at West Wickham Estate for the Wildcard section of the popular TV show, Sky Landscape Artist of the Year. He is most excited to be showing  his latest collection of paintings titled Our English Coast consisting of 40 oil paintings celebrating the majesty of our country’s wonderful coastlines, including: Mortehoe, Combe Martin, Combesgate Beach, Gin Cove and Grunta Bay.

A professional artist for 25 years, Glenn has been working on this project for 2 years generating exhilarating oil on canvas landscape paintings which originate from sketches he drew while at the locations.

“I am currently enthused by our outstanding countryside and am working with the National Trust, donating a percentage of the revenue generated from 2 prints  in the show, that are of National Trust protected coastlines . Helping safeguard this magnificent resource for our children is crucial and selection for the TV show has encouraged me to produce more landscape work”. he explained.

An exhibition of Mr Badham’s new paintings are to be displayed and on sale from August 15 until October 10th, 2020, at 78 Derngate: The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House, Northampton.

Glenn’s paintings have also been selected for inclusion in 2 open submission competitions during lockdown the first edition of Flea Circus Magazine and Gaada’s online art exhibition and E-magazine.  His next project will be sketching the rehearsals of Matthew Bournes, Nutcracker in Plymouth through November.
