Hot on the heels of the sell-out Nettle Venom Anti-Ageing Cream, Heaven Skincare has unveiled its Nettle Venom Eyes. This latest addition to the brand’s range is 100% plant-based and has been created by Founder Deborah Mitchell for those looking for highly effective vegan skincare products.

The new eye cream contains Deborah’s patented NETTATOXIN® which works in the same way as her famous bee venom but uses only vegan-friendly ingredients. It is designed to ease puffiness and dark circles around the eyes while relaxing fine lines and wrinkles.

“I’ve been asked why I decided to launch a new product when so many of mine are already great for the eye area, and the answer is simple,” explains Deborah. “My Nettle Venom Anti-Ageing Cream has proved such a massive success and the demand for it has been off the scale. After the launch I had lots of my vegan clients asking if I could make a version that would have the same rich formula but would target the delicate skin around the eyes.

“Because I create all my products myself, I got to working on this latest eye cream over the last couple of months and am absolutely delighted with the results. It’s light enough so that it doesn’t weigh down the area yet effective enough to really make the eyes glow.”

Deborah’s NETTATOXIN® works because the venom of the nettle causes a reaction similar to that of bees when they sting – the skin goes into rapid repair on first contact. “Imagine you’ve cut yourself and once it heals the area feels tight and the skin looks new. When you apply the nettle venom around the delicate eye area the body’s natural defence starts to heal; of course there’s no damage but the skin is tricked into thinking there has been. By using it daily, it will tackle those tell-tale dark circles and fine lines that we all get as we age – in fact, it’s so good you’ll be proud to look the mirror in the eye!”

Heaven’s new Nettle Venom Eyes launches online and in selected salons on Friday August 28 and is priced at £55.
