Harvey Nichols Birmingham invites diners to enjoy the finest English wines at an exclusive evening next month. The luxury Mailbox store will host the specially-themed dinner on Thursday August 3 to showcase its impressive range of locally-produced wines and fizz.
Guests will enjoy canapés on arrival before sitting down to a five-course meal featuring braised gem filled with truffle egg yolk and bacon; mackerel with cucumber, rhubarb and mint; monk fish in beer batter; Earl Grey spritzer sorbet; duck three ways; custard tart with strawberry arctic roll; before finishing with jaffa cake and lemon meringue petit fours.
During each course the store’s Wine Expert Siofra O’Brien will talk through the wines she has hand-picked to compliment the flavours of the dishes.
