Bullring & Grand Central has partnered with Birmingham Mind to open a Wellbeing Hub in its Link Street mall. The Birmingham Mind Wellbeing Hub will be open between 10am-4pm from Monday to Friday each week to all members of the public.
The walk-in Wellbeing Hub will provide an integrated service of one-to-one mentoring, peer support and general advice for visitors and residents in the heart of Birmingham’s largest shopping, dining and leisure destination.
Bullring & Grand Central is committed to creating a safe and secure environment for its visitors, staff and local communities. Through its partnership with Birmingham Mind, individuals will be able to conveniently access support from the Birmingham Mind team and find out more about the services available.
Birmingham Mind provides a wide variety of high-quality services across all aspects of mental health. The charity is purposed to allow accessible and person-centred mental health support and is driven by the ethos that every individual should have the right to these services as much as the next.
Whilst the Birmingham Mind Wellbeing Hub is not able to offer direct support regarding crisis care from the location, the Hub’s team will be able to signpost individuals to the relevant resources if they require additional support.
Helen Wadley, Chief Executive Officer at Birmingham Mind, added: “We have been wanting to provide a wellbeing space in central Birmingham for a while and it is with thanks to the Bullring & Grand Central that we have been able to do so.
“Our new Hub is well equipped to support the emotional and mental wellbeing of people over the age of 18 and not only provides a calm, relaxing space in the heart of city but is also full of free resources and guides to support your wellbeing journey.
“Pop in and see us for mental health advice and support, as well as information on how to volunteer and fundraise for Birmingham Mind too.
“We are also in process of developing some specific wellbeing sessions, which we plan to launch in the autumn.”
