For International Women’s Day 2017, The Birmingham Whisky Club are back with another round of ‘Whisky Women’ – a no nonsense guide to whisky aimed at getting more women involved with the wonder that is the ‘Water of Life’!
The event will be held on 8th March from 19:00 to 21:00 at The Wellington in Birmingham.
Attendees can taste through six drams and learn more about the women who’ve shaped the history of whisky. From Ellen Jane Corrigan (who took Irish whiskey international) to ‘The Godmother Of Japanese Whisky’ Jessie Roberta Cowan, find out more about these amazing ladies and taste the products they helped create.
This tasting is suitable for beginners or more seasoned whisky drinkers. Cost: £20 standard or £15 members of The Birmingham Whisky Club*
