Birmingham Botanical Gardens is offering guests the chance to celebrate summer with an enchanting evening of music, food, and good company under the stars on Friday, 5th July as it unveils its new ‘Garden Lates: Summer Social’ event series, promising an unforgettable mix of soulful music, gourmet street food, and refreshing beverages in the magical setting of the Gardens.
This special event offers exclusive evening access to the Gardens, transforming them into a vibrant social hub where guests can enjoy and evening of amazing live music with crisp beers, refreshing fizz, and fine wines from Loki Wines and an array of authentic homemade, Indian food from the acclaimed Super Tiffin by Mahirs Experiences.
What’s more, you can sample the exclusive Birmingham Botanical Gardens Gin at the pop-up gin bar, offering a refreshing botanical twist to your evening.
Entertainment for the evening includes a captivating live performance by The Unique Experience (TUX), featuring Birmingham’s own, Call Me Unique, who brings a soulful blend of jazz, soul, and futurebeats to the bandstand. Her performance, influenced by legends like Lauryn Hill and Ella Fitzgerald, promises to make this a night to remember.
Other local live music acts performing include Carolina Blu: Neo-soul R&B with empowering feminine energy, Hali Ray: A modern twist on Jazz, Soul & RnB and Okeam Briscoe: Smooth R&B and Soul inspired by Marvin Gaye and Lauryn Hill.
Visitors are invited to bring picnic blankets, pillows, or camping chairs to relax and enjoy the evening comfortably.
Garden Lates is on Friday, 5th July with doors opening from 7pm and live music from 7.45pm. Tickets start from just £4.50 for children with a family ticket of five available for just £20.
