A big budget extravaganza adaptation of J.M Barrie’s much-loved tale Peter Pan flies into top UK venues from October promising a spectacular spin on the timeless classic adventure.
80’s music icon Boy George will be performing in Peter Pan – The Arena Spectacular at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena from 22-24 December.
Following the success of ELF -THE MUSICAL arena tour last year, the same production team headed by the maestro producer Jon Conway is at the helm of a “supersize spectacle” with awe-inspiring special effects and lots of fun.
This production has all of the traditional elements that families love from a pantomime, but it also brings a mix of cirque and a spectacular event to the overall presentation.
The cast of fifty includes a dozen cirque performers, dazzling aerial stunts, a giant battle where the audience throw cannon balls at Hook’s ship and a death-defying escape from a locked water tank by rising comedy star Jordan Conway playing Peter Pan, plus a large troupe of Irish and Highland dancers.
Fabulous animated digital sets redefine the genre with an immersive experience of magic and wonderment that even the most cynical audiences will be blown away by.
Also joining Boy George is Dorit Kemsley. Known across the globe from the celebrated ‘Real Housewives of Beverley Hills’, Dorit will have her stage debut playing the mermaid.
Tickets for Peter Pan – The Arena Spectacular go on sale to the general public on 17th May at 10am BST from https://bit.ly/3pqEaLF.
