Brindleyplace Welcomes A Taste Of Japan With New-Look For Birmingham Restaurant

Back with a new look, new menu and new vibe, Pan-Asian restaurant OKO has relaunched, bringing an exquisite contemporary Japanese dining and dancing experience to the heart of Birmingham.

With abrand-new concept of “Dine till’ dusk and dance till’ dawn”, Brindleyplace-based OKO is set to shake up the city’s late-night dining scene. The restaurant’s menu specialises in delicately crafted sushi, prepared by a dedicated Sushi chef, as well as dim sum and sashimi.

OKO’s intricate drinks menu also aims to bring Japanese culture to life; combining classic cocktail flavours with the tastes of Asia and boasting a selection of Japanese whisky, saki and gin. Offering uncompromised quality alongside the vibrant colours, fragrant flavours and textures of traditional Japanese cuisine, OKO is fusion at its finest.

Managing Director, Stephania Christoforou, comments:

“The concept of late-night dining has transformed the food and drink scene across major cities like London, Dubai and New York, and it’s something that we want to pioneer here in Birmingham. We’re a city known for its thriving restaurant scene, so it seems only right that we start offering something as unique as OKO.

“We want to offer a totally unparalleled Japanese-inspired dining and drinking experience that people remember! Whether they become regular diners, only visit for special celebrations or come along for a one-off date night, OKO is a place to dine till’ dusk and dance till’ dawn; as we entertain guests late into the night, rather than closing our doors at the end of dinner service.”
