CELEBRATE MOTHER’S DAY WITH SELFRIDGES
Although Mother’s Day may be a little different this year, Selfridges are hosting a range of entertaining and inspirational events that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. There are Card Workshops for the creative, Skincare masterclasses for the beauty obsessed and an insightful Motherhood talk with a selection of inspiring speakers, include Candice Braithwaite.
MOTHER’S DAY CARD WORKSHOP WITH SCRIBBLE & DAUB
Join Scribble & Daub founder and illustrator Caroline Kent for a Mother’s Day card workshop. Caroline will introduce you to her own style of work using a traditional dip pen and inks, while looking at some other great artists who have drawn on flowers for inspiration, before taking you through a simple design you can recreate at home – and gift to Mum.
Dates: Monday 8 March
L’Artisan Parfumeur Fragrance Masterclass
This one’s for the fragrance fans. Bring Mum along and join us to celebrate our latest fragrance launch: L’Artisan Parfumeur. David Napier, the brand’s Communication Manager, will be joined by i-D France magazine’s Editorial Director, Claire Thomson-Jonville, to discuss all things fragrance and introduce you to a live olfactive profiling to guide Mum (and you) to her perfect perfume before answering all your burning questions.
Dates: Tuesday 9 March
SKINCARE MASTERCLASS WITH FACEGYM
Join FaceGym’s national training managers, Sophie Perry and Madalaina Conti, for a full-face workout using just your hands and your favourite face oil or moisturiser. Expect to leave the session toned, lifted and sculpted from the neck upwards. The perfect Mother’s Day pampering session!
Dates: Wednesday 10 March
‘ON MOTHERHOOD’ TALK WITH 5×15
Join Selfridges and 5×15 for a special evening hosted by Emma-Louise Boynton that brings together six inspiring speakers; Candice Braithwaite, Jess Phillips MP, Glyn Fussell and Amy Zing in conversation, Nell Frizzell and Gemma Rolls Bentley. Celebrating motherhood in all its forms, each speaker will tell their stories, and share their experiences and perspectives. From the bond between parent and child to collective families and diverse motherhood, this evening offers the perfect platform for sharing stories, offering ideas and taking a moment to reflect on a topic that is special to us all.
