From the tastiest burgers to classic clam chowder, Harvey Nichols will be celebrating the very best dishes from America at its four-course Independence Day wine dinner next month.
The themed evening will highlight flavours from across the pond with each course matched with specially selected wines and a cocktail sourced from the States.
Hosted by Head Chef Stewart Mackie and Wine Specialist Siofra O’Brien, the dinner will be served in the stylish Private Dining Room on Thursday July 4 from 7pm.
The menu includes clam chowder with sweetcorn hummus en croute with Wabi-Sabi Californian White; filo pastry crab tart with roasted red pepper purée and buttermilk dressing with Savage Grace Riesling; turkey burger with smoked sweetcorn relish, courgette and sweet potato fries with Save Grace Côte; and finishing off with strawberry and peanut butter sandwich served with a 1776 cocktail made from Maker’s Mark whisky, Escuba liqueur and caramel syrup.
