Dippy the Diplodocus comes to Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery from 26th May – 9th September, as part of a tour which Sees the natural history museum’s iconic Diplodocus cast taking a natural history adventure across the UK.
As excitement builds for Dippy’s arrival, exclusive drinks and dining packages are available to prebook In advance for the perfect evening with colleagues, clients or employees. You will dine in the museum’s spectacular gas hall where you will be joined by the perfect dinner guest – a 70-foot long dinosaur cast! There are a number of exciting options available to suit any occasion.
Take a table at one of the shared dine with dippy dinner parties taking place on Thursday 7th and 14th June. Available for £70 per head (minimum booking 1 Table of 10 people), and enjoy arrival drinks and canapes with Impressive dry ice tray service, a delicious four course dinner, half bottle of wine per person, unlimited still and sparkling mineral water, table decoration and an individual dippy themed gift for each guest.
For those looking for a more exclusive occasion, why not host your very own private dinosaur dinner party? Full room hire is £1800 and then you can choose between two exquisite drinks and dinner packages to delight your guests.
The first option is the Jurassic 1 hour reception package, at £35 per head. your evening can be started memorably with the choice of prosecco, prehistoric punch and non-alcoholic punch all arriving with dry ice tray service, and a choice of canapes, including Roquefort and cranberry endives and wild mushroom choux buns.
Alternatively, the cretaceous reception and dinner package allows diners to keep dippy company well into the evening, at £55 per head. After the welcoming drinks reception, diners are treated to an exquisite three course meal, with a choice of dishes including pan seared breast of chicken, mediterranean vegetable and parmesan Wellington, and more. Finish off
the evening with tea, coffee and handmade truffles, all under Dippy’s grand presence.
