Caribbean restaurant Turtle Bay has officially announced today that Birmingham will benefit from further investment with the launch of a second restaurant in Brindleyplace. The 4,465 sq ft venue will create 60 jobs and is set to open mid-September.
Turtle Bay is renowned for its social, warm atmosphere and vibrant design, serving delicious Caribbean inspired dishes and signature cocktails throughout the day and into the evening. From jerk chicken to fiery goat curry, vegan dishes packed with punchy Caribbean flavour, delicious desserts and one of the best bottomless brunch offers out there – you’ll find something for everyone at Turtle Bay.
One of the best things about visiting Turtle Bay is the memorable guest experience and they are on the lookout for 60 of the city’s best hospitality talent. To support the recruitment drive for the new venue, Turtle Bay is hosting two “Audition Days” for potential team members, which will take place on Tuesday 19th July and Wednesday 10th August at the Pentahotel in Birmingham.
Carl Jones, Operations Manager at Turtle Bay, said: “Birmingham is gearing up for an amazing summer as host of the Commonwealth Games and we are incredibly proud to be bringing a second venue to the city. Brindleyplace is a great location, perfectly situated for those looking for a chilled lunchtime venue, somewhere to enjoy post-work cocktails, or for a late-night dinner date.”
Guy Clark, General Manager at Turtle Bay Brindleyplace, added: “Birmingham is renowned for being a friendly city and has seen some amazing changes and growth over the past couple of years. We are proud to be a company who invests in its people and have a wide variety of roles available within the new venue.
“We are very much looking forward to meeting everyone at our Audition Days and seeing how they respond to the different elements and challenges – we’ll have everything from Dragon’s Den-style pitches, to team-building exercises and informal interviews.”
Turtle Bay Brindleyplace will open to the public in September and will be located at 10 Brindleyplace, Birmingham, B1 2JB. This will be the second Turtle Bay in the city, joining the John Bright Street restaurant.
