A ‘Gloriously Glamorous’ Christmas lunch is being planned for this year’s Birmingham Publicity Associations annual event with Friday 7th December.
Bringing people from the creative industries across the city together to celebrate the festive season with a bit of sparkle and style, the popular annual event looks set to be another sell-out success.
The festive lunches, which are legendary in the Birmingham networking calendar as being one of the hottest tickets of the year, will be once again taking place due to overwhelming popularity at The Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Guests of the day will not only be given the chance to network with some of the hottest names in the industry, but also find out how much they have helped raise throughout the past year due to the host of events held by the BPA. In aid of the LoveBRUM charity, who have been its partner for the last two years.
Sponsored for the 6th year running by Elonex and with the theme of being Gloriously Glamorous, black tie is optional but very much encouraged.
Caroline Chell, Chair of the BPA said: “We are incredibly lucky to have such unwavering support from across Birmingham to help us hold these events – and then to be able to pass this onto our chosen charity makes all the hours spent organising them behind the scenes worthwhile. We are truly grateful to each and everyone who turns up, tunes in and gets into the spirit of the BPA and everything we do – and our Christmas event is a way for us to let our hair down and really celebrate this.
“We want to make this a completely glam affair – so even though the celebrations start in the day, we are looking for black ties, high heels, glitz and sparkle from everyone as a true show of spirit for the season, so we can’t wait to see you all again in just a few weeks time,” she added.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 12.30pm, cost £975 for a table of 12 (£1150 for non-members) and £95 for an individual ticket (£110 for non-members).
Tickets include a welcome drink, a three course Christmas lunch, entertainment and the opportunity to mingle with Birmingham’s finest creative marketing and media crowd. As tradition has it, there’ll be a raffle and an auction to help us raise funds for our deserving 2017/2018 flagship charity, LoveBRUM.
The Birmingham Publicity Association aims to unite those working in the creative industries across the West Midlands and is a great way to network and have fun at the same time.
The BPA has existed since the 1930s, supporting the media and creative industries in the region, while raising money for key charities that its members wish to support. Its members include global organisations to sole traders, graduate trainees right up to CEOs and MDs, media owners and agencies, advertising and marketing agencies, digital agencies, PR agencies and freelancers.
