Sunday 31st January is National Hot Chocolate Day, a day that Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has celebrated for the past two years and is once again celebrating during its 30th anniversary year. Although the festive season and New Year still feel very different to normal, the charity is encouraging people to get chocolatey this year, by indulging with a hot cuppa and sharing their best sweet treat photos on social media.
The charity has also restocked its online shop with the perfect merchandise to use whilst supporting its lifesaving cause, the limited edition mug, which sold out during the festive sales period, is now back in stock and available at: midlandsairambulance.com/shop – don’t be a mug, be a lifesaver!
Emma Gray, fundraising and marketing director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, says: “National Hot Chocolate Day is our first event in 2021, and it is one everyone can easily get involved with, so we are really eager for local people and businesses in West Midlands to make a cuppa and donate a few pennies to our lifesaving cause.
“It’s a fun and easy way for everyone to show their support and also provides a great excuse for an online socially distanced catch-up between friends and family.”
To get involved, make yourself a chocolatey treat, take a picture of your creation and share on social. Tag the charity in using @MAA_Charity on Twitter and Instagram or @MidlandsAirAmbulance on Facebook and include the hashtags #NCHD2021 and #SupportMAAC to show your support of the lifesaving, rapid response emergency service.
