KEMP HOSPICE WELCOMES CORPORATE SUPPORT

KEMP, the Wyre Forest Hospice are delighted to have received a large donation of £1000 from Evesham based Woodlands Generators, particularly in light of the huge hit the pandemic has had on the charity’s fundraising activities.

Jack Preece, Operations Director at Woodlands Generators, said: “We’re pleased to support KEMP Hospice and the crucial support they provide to their patients, especially during this challenging time and in the lead up to Christmas. We were conscious of the impact the pandemic is having on charities who derive much of their revenue from shops and fundraising events, and would encourage other businesses to show their support and help in any way they can.”

Woodlands Generators are specialist power solutions providers and a dedicated family run business, providing generator services across the UK and globally for over 70 years. The company’s donation of £1000 will go a long way in supporting KEMP’s services through offering care and support patients, families and carers living with life-limiting illness or going through bereavement this Christmas and beyond.

Charlie Homer, Head of Fundraising and Communications at KEMP, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to have received such a generous donation from Woodlands Generators. It has been a tough year for everyone, and why we are so very grateful – more than ever, for corporate support right now. Their £1000 donation could provide 20 hours of bereavement support with our specialist KEMP Kids team counsellors for a child going through one of the worst times in their lives: it is so good to know how much businesses in our community care.”

Support from businesses is invaluable to KEMP Hospice, and why the charity’s aim is to always build mutually beneficial relationships with their corporate partners to meet business goals, build on strengths and engage their staff.
