Rover.com, a network which brings together dog people – matching dog owners with trusted walkers and sitters has launched in Birmingham, meaning local dog owners will now find it easier than ever to find a reliable sitter for their furry friend.
The largest and most trusted platform for dog walking, boarding and sitting in North America, Rover launched in London this July and is now available in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.
Available as an app on iOS and Android, it is free to download for owners and sitters alike and is super easy to use.
For owners, simply download the app, register and start browsing potential sitter and walker profiles. Before making a booking, owners can also meet a sitter free of charge – so they can be safe in the knowledge that their dog will be well looked after.
What’s more, all potential sitters face a stringent sign up process, where they have to pass a safety check and test before being hand-reviewed by sitter quality specialists. Just one in five applicants meets Rover’s high standards to join the platform.
Once signed up, sitters and walkers can set their own price and availability, whilst owners can leave and browse reviews – helping ensure they get the right person looking after their four-legged friend.
What’s more, the app allows owners to track the route their dog has taken on their walk, with the option of a full slideshow of photos to see what they’ve been up to with their day.
