In addition, the Chamber are once again working closely with the British Chambers of Commerce so that businesses who apply for particular categories will also be entered into the regional and national Awards.

This year’s Award categories include:

Customer Commitment Award*

Education & Business Partnership*

Excellence in Manufacturing and Engineering

Export Business of the Year*

Small Business of the Year*

*These Awards are also British Chambers of Commerce Awards and entries will automatically be entered for the regional and national Awards.

Please note, you may apply for more than one award category and the awards are open to all members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce for free and to non-members at a fee.

Julie Cunningham, President of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, commented: “Our Annual Awards provide a great opportunity for businesses from across the Black Country to celebrate their success. As a region, we have a large number of innovative companies that operate across a diverse range of sectors, which is something that the Chamber seeks to actively champion.

“In addition, we are delighted to announce that the Rotary Club of Dudley are donating a cash prize of £1,000 to the winner of the Young Person or Apprentice of the Year Award, which is to be used as a contribution towards their personal development during their apprenticeship.”

“I wholeheartedly encourage businesses to apply for the Awards, and I look forward to celebrating their successes with them at the Annual Awards dinner in November.”

The shortlist for each of the categories will be announced in September. Winners will then be announced at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner 2018, taking place on 9th November 2018 at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
