Let’s Get Ready To Rum-ble: Brum’s Rum Festival returns 2nd July

Birmingham Rum Festival

The Birmingham Rum Festival, now in its fifth year, will return to the City on Saturday 2nd July at The Cuban Embassy Bar in Moseley.

The festival is a superb celebration of rum with the taste of the Caribbean against a backdrop of fantastic Latin American style.

Enthusiasts of the golden beverage will be able to choose from a fabulous array of rum brands joining the line-up this year, including Diablesse, Burning Barn, IM Drinkin Rum, Island Slice, Wildjac, Eminente, B Rum and blended rum spirit Elsha.

The festival will give guests the opportunity to learn all about where the rum in their glass comes from and the rich history behind each sip whilst soaking up the carnival atmosphere.

There will be a range of cocktails available to try and the option to take home a bottle (or two!) of your favourite from the rum shop.

The Cuban Embassy will be serving exotic street food with authentic Caribbean flavours, accompanied by live music by resident house band Rhythms del Toro performing salsa, samba and reggae favourites.

There will be two sessions of rum fun on Saturday 2nd July. Afternoon tickets are from 12pm until 4:30pm. Evening tickets are from 5:30pm until 10pm with prices starting at just £15. VIP tickets from £25.  The event will be held at the Cuban Embassy Bar, 23 St Mary’s Row, Moseley.  Find out more at www.birminghamrumfestival.com
